On another scene, Bill is shocked when a vampire from his violent past suddenly resurfaces in Dallas. In Bon Temps, Daphne presses Sam to feel at ease and comfortable while Hoyt continues his courtship of the apple of his eyes, Jessica.
Meanwhile, Tara and Eggs take an unplanned detour while on a road trip for supplies which would seem surprising as there seemed no reason for them to take the route. At the Light of Day camp, Jason finds himself faced with difficult emotional and physical choices which he has to carefully decide on.
